Mid‐century style restrooms featured some of the most colorful palettes at this point. Aqua blue and red were common colors for porcelain and tile. These colors were often paired with white, gray, turquoise, chartreuse, lavender gray, avocado or coral walls. You'll find many of these colors in the Sherwin‐Williams Suburban Modern Interior Historic Colors collection.
A tile wall structure depicting a floral garden, old‐fashioned map, a pond with seafood or a route through the woods could run floor to ceiling in your bathrooms or cover only part of a wall; the options are endless. Tile murals are available in various motifs and sizes. There are tiles depicting great the work of artists such as Monet and Van Gogh, animals and nature, gardens and flowers, southwestern landscapes, abstract patterns and vintage posters. In addition to investing in a predesigned picture, you can change a well liked family picture or your child's artwork into a tile mural.
