Check for any closets posting a common wall membrane with your bathrooms. Be sure to include the measurements of these closets. Check your drawing to ascertain when a closet can be removed by you and add that space to your bathrooms. Does it square‐off your bathrooms? Will you miss the closet space? Check local building codes for redesigning and building requirements like, clear space needs, door location, tub and shower size, fixture lighting and placement. Local codes stress minimum requirements, but organizations like the National Kitchen and Bath Association offer guidelines based on maximum comfort and organization.
