Completely examine your bathroom space and the available rooms next to the toilet. Take accurate measurements of the toilet and adjoining rooms. Transpose those measurements to level on the graph paper. Look for any closets posting a common wall structure with your bathrooms. Be sure to include the measurements of these closets. Check your drawing to determine if you can remove a closet and add that space to your bathrooms. Does it square‐off your bathrooms? Will you miss the closet space? In the pre‐remodel photography here, the wallpapered wall structure on the right part of the entranceway was a closet for an adjoining bedroom.
